ASA Adventures in SF

Oh yeah, so my absent-minded self talked about the ASA on Saturday but of course I didn’t say a thing about the dinner we had the night before. We had dinner at Gordon Biersch in SF with the Stanford ASA. The turnout was great, all in all about 35 or 40 people about 10 of whom were from Stanford. It was cool meeting the Stanford people, I hadn’t gotten a chance to meet them at the picnic/bbq we had earlier in the year since I slept through that, heh. For some reason we stayed standing after a group of people left early, so we stood around and talked for almost 2 hours and I gotta say my legs were getting tired. So then after standing for two hours my buddy Diko decides to run a marathon back to the BART from the restaurant and everyone just kept running to keep up with him. Haha, it was just 10 Armenians running down the streets of SF at damn near midnight, it was a good workout, no doubt.

The Leonid meteor shower is going down tonight. It’s going to be the best one in years, I mean lots of them. If you saw it last year, it’s going to be even better this time around. In North America its peaking around 2:30am PST. Last year Garen was visiting me the weekend it went down. We had come back from the Big Game and were tired and chillin’ in the room. Then the coolest RA ever, Robert, let us up onto the roof of Spens Black to watch the meteor shower with some other peeps from my floor. Good stuff, dont miss it.
