Giving Thanks

So Thanksgiving weekend was cool. I got a chance to see my fam, I hadnt seen them for like 3 months so that was nice of course. Then I got to see Eric, Nareg, and Arlet. Hadn’t seen them for at least that long too. You gotta love closing out the Burbank In N Out at 1:30 on a Friday night baby. That’s our second home right there haha.

I also got a chance to see Ararat. I’d like to go on and on about how great it was to see this movie but I can’t. I can’t because I just choke up when I think about it. It was so unbelievable to hear my native tongue being spoken on the big screen. So overwhelming to imagine that this film that peered into the Armenian psyche today would be seen by thousands of people around the world. Nothing is perfect but how can one complain about this movie? I can’t. In fact I have to see it again it was so good. I’m going to see it this weekend in SF and I encourage ANYbody who hasn’t seen it yet, whether you’re Armenian or not, to join me. It’s an intense movie you won’t forget about soon.
