Break from Vacation

Hello everybody. My name is Armen Abrahamian. I used to have a web page that I updated but I sort of forgot about it for a month. I’m terribly sorry but I hope I’m back now. It’s been so long I don’t even know where to begin. I was so busy during my time in LA that I couldn’t wait to take a vacation from my break.

Most of my time was spent automating my dad’s office. That involved a lot of data entry into the new software package we got to run things over there. It also meant I had to price and order a bunch of new computers for them and network it all together. I decided to set up a wireless network and avoid the hassle of running ethernet cable everywhere. Someone recommended a Netgear wireless router and so far it’s working pretty well. So yeah I spent a ton of time working on all that stuff. I’d also like to tell anyone who’s looking to buy a Dell computer to stay away from the Dimension and Inspiron lines, or at least the low end models of those lines. I’m not going to get into the details of the hell I went through with one but needless to say the peace of mind is worth the extra $50 or $100 for an Optiplex or Latitude.

Anyway, any time that I wasn’t working I spent seeing family or friends pretty much. I’ve started to value the time I spend with my family and friends now that I don’t see them more than a handful of times a year. I hung out with Brenda quite a bit, I had a lot of fun with her. We took her little cousin Diana to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, which is actually where my brother’s prom was. Diana is like 6 years old and she’s the cutest little kid. She’s so smart and she had so much fun at the aquarium. Even though she’s so young she was interested in learning about the animals there, beyond just looking at them and saying oh how pretty. I hope I can spend more time with her in the future, she’s a bright little girl.

This is pretty long already, and I’ve got a ton of other stuff to do, but I’ll continue updating later tonight or tommorrow…stay tuned…
