Elvis - King Creole
So I’ve been listening to a lot of Elvis recently. I’ve always wanted to hear more of his music and really learn about why he’s such a legend and “The King of Rock”. I just never actually had the music to listen to or wasn’t motivated enough to get my hands on it I guess. In general I’m pretty open-minded about what types of music I can appreciate but lately I had pigeon-holed myself by making hip-hop the only genre of music I actively pursued. Well I’ve changed that and I guess someone I know finally gave me the little push I needed to do that by letting me sample some of this stuff. I started picking up quite a bit of “new-to-me” music, most of it from well-known and significant rock bands. Artists such as Elvis, Led Zepplin, Nirvana, Guns N Roses, and others.
