When you wrote "I’m not sure what it is about Expedia ads that stand out," I thought, "What the heck are you talking about?" But when you mentioned the jingle, i thought, "Ohhh yeah! That's Expedia!" I too miss the jingle - they should've used it as a tag to take advantage of the equity already built into it. But I'm sure there was some sort of research or tests before they dropped it. I want a yellow suitcase! :)

Yeah I would have linked to one except I couldn't find any yet. If someone posts it I will definitely link it. Can't post it myself I don't think.

I am still thinking about this and I think its just incredible that you jumped on top of a random blog post about Expedia within 30 minutes of it being posted to post a link to your site. Clearly there must be more positive ways to spend your time.

Sorry John but your never-ending Expedia-hate campaign across the Internet will not stand on my blog. I work at the company and I have yet to meet a person who does not have the customers' best interest at heart. Travel is a complicated thing to buy and sell and things do go wrong but by and large we are doing right by our customers. If we weren't we would be in trouble, nobody would be booking with us. Thanks for understanding.
